Hi.

Welcome to my little piece of the world wide web. I'll be documenting my experiences in New York, working, traveling, and endearingly overthinking everything.

Hope you have a good read!

where in the world was i?

where in the world was i?

A timeline. Because sometimes I ramble and things get confusing. Basically... I have moved a lot over the last four years.

Many nights before moving have been spent in my trusty old sleeping bag.

Many nights before moving have been spent in my trusty old sleeping bag.

  • Grew up in Allentown, Pennsylvania (like the Billy Joel song)

  • Left for college in Tuscaloosa, Alabama - August 2013

  • Interned in Cincinnati, Ohio - Summer 2014

  • Studied abroad in Sevilla, Spain - Spring 2015

  • Interned in Dallas, Texas - Summer 2015

  • Interned in Washington, D.C. - Summer 2016

  • Moved to New York City - Summer 2017

A firm believer of seeing the world and understanding lifestyles different from your own. I love traveling… even to the point that I wrote my college admissions essay about my family mini-van.

If you can’t randomly move somewhere now, without a spouse/kids/committed job/mortgage, when can ya? Obviously, I took that thought very seriously and spent a lot of time dragging suitcases (and my parents’ with their SUV) around the country/world. There were ups and downs, and now I can say I’ve built relationships in different settings and learned a lot along the way. It felt SO nice for August to come and go, and I didn’t have to pack and head back to Alabama. (It also felt sad knowing that college really is over?!)

This is all to say that each city offered great food, events and experiences, (and PEOPLE)... so there will be some city guides coming soon so you all to enjoy. :)
